CH’INDEE NEEKAII GWITS’AT: NANKAK GATR’ONAHTAN (FROM BOTH EYES, ON THE LAND WE LEARN)
The Canadian Mountain Network is training the next generation of land guardians and researchers who will dedicate themselves to enhancing our understanding of environmental, economic, and social changes across the North. This summer land-based learning camp is an immersive education experience that takes youth onto the land to learn place-based knowledge from elders, knowledge holders and researchers. The program is hosted on the homelands of the Sahtú Dene and Métis (based at the Drum Lake Lodge) for Indigenous youth aged 18-34 from the Yukon, NWT, or Nunatsiavut.
